Shipping & Returns

At Rail & Stile, we stand behind our products 100%.  It's important to us that you, as customers, feel the same about what you've chosen to have in your home.  Our pieces are inspected prior to shipment, however if you do notice damages please let us know within 48 hours of receipt and our team will work on a plan for replacement and/or repair. All of our items ship from within the United States.

In order to get your new piece of furniture from our workshop to your home or business, we partner with small businesses that specialize in white glove delivery of large, often oversized, fragile items to insure your piece(s) arrive safely. Take a look at our shipping options below to determine what will work best for you! Please note smaller items including gift and home decor are shipped via traditional shipping services such as USPS, Fedex and UPS.

Domestic Shipping Only

We currently do not ship outside the US: We only ship within the United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) at this time.

PO Boxes & APO Boxes

Unfortunately, we do not currently ship to PO or APO Boxes. All orders must be shipped to a physical address.

 

Pick-up 

We offer pick-up at our Raleigh, NC warehouse. This location is different from our showroom. Pick-ups must be scheduled and confirmed in advance. Client is responsible for bringing blankets to protect the piece in travel. Our staff is happy to help load the furniture into your transportation. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs as a result of client pick up after the piece has left our facility. To learn more about pick-up or to schedule, please call 984-358-0591. 

 

Local Delivery

We are proud to partner with trusted local delivery teams who have experience transporting vintage and lacquered pieces. We can help to coordinate local delivery within a 20 miles radius of Raleigh, NC. You must be flexible with your delivery date, as our local partners arrange their own schedules.

Local delivery quote is $100-$300. Quotes will be provided after purchase.

First Floor White Glove Delivery

We offer third party white glove delivery nationwide. The delivery fee you pay upon purchase is for white glove - put-in-place - delivery to the first floor of your home or office. Our shipping partners reserve the right to add an additional $50-75 for second floor or difficult circumstances. That fee is paid direct to them upon receipt. 

You must be flexible with your delivery date, as our partners arrange their own routes and schedules. It is the client’s responsibility to inform Rail & Stile and our delivery partner of any special requirements for delivery, such as COI, holding facilities, etc. Failure to inform could result in a delay of receiving your piece. 

It is the client’s responsibility to inspect pieces upon arrival. When inspecting, you are looking for damage to the piece. Please remember that up-cycling vintage pieces makes them beautiful - it does not make them perfect. While Rail & Stile is not responsible for damages that occur during transit, we have agreements in place with our shipping partners, who will bring back the damaged piece to be fixed, and then deliver it to you again during their next route in your area.

Other Shipping Details:

  • For ready to ship accessories, our warehouse works to ship orders out within 7-10 business days. 

  • For ready to ship furniture pieces, we will schedule through our white glove delivery service on the next delivery in your area. 

  • For custom pieces and hand knotted rugs, we ship between 8-14 weeks. 

  • For backorders, we make every effort to ensure our products reflect the most accurate inventory and shipping information.  On rare occasions, changes to our estimated ship times do occur.  Orders cannot be canceled due to a backorder.  Orders are automatically sent to and confirmed with our manufacturer; which at that time we are unable to process cancellations.

Returns & Exchanges

We do not accept returns or exchanges at this time.All sales are final. However, if there is a problem with your purchase, do let us know. We will do our best to assist you.

Cancellations

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cancellations, once an order is submitted to our fulfillment center.  If you have any questions please contact us: therailandstile@gmail.com.

Damaged Goods Policy

While all of our pieces are inspected prior to shipment and are shipped in new condition, it’s possible that damages may occur during shipment. Rail & Stile will replace any damaged item(s) at no additional cost,  if you contact our team within 48 hours of the item’s arrival. Rail & Stile will provide a shipping label for the return of the damaged item, so please do not discard the item or its packaging. If the damaged item is furniture, Rail & Stile will find and coordinate with a local repair shop in your area to fix the damaged item. ​
