Story
Welcome to the Rail & Stile Home Furnishings Studio! We are a husband and wife team who have the passion and professional skills to make “vintage and heirloom” work for today’s lifestyle. We have built an amazing team of professional refinishers and designers with strong attention to craftsmanship, quality, and detail to produce exquisite and stylish furniture.
Most recently, we launched our debut furniture Collection “Modern Ming,” which offers vintage designs for modern-day sensibilities. The inspiration comes from our history with fine vintage furniture, which often pleases the eye but is proportionally too small. Each piece of Modern Ming is sized for modern interiors and handcrafted in our workshop by our team of carpenters in downtown Raleigh, NC. We are proud to be a North Carolina-based company hiring local craftspeople.
In addition, for our local clients, we have a 10,000 sq ft Showroom in downtown Raleigh just waiting to be explored. Come visit!

Our showroom in downtown Raleigh, NC houses hundreds of pieces of vintage and antique furniture that we can customize for you as well as freshly lacquered or refreshed pieces ready for their new home.
Please note: we do not accept furniture drop-offs at this location.

Our workshop near downtown Raleigh, NC houses our talented team of furniture specialists and is open by appointment only for pick up/drop off. If we are lacquering a client piece, this is the address where your piece will need to be dropped off.

Us
Our initial quote will include using one of our shop colors and the lacquering or polishing of your hardware. We can match custom colors. Once we have approval of the quote from you, we will need a 50% deposit. This deposit will reserve your place in our queue.
Please note that our initial quote will not include any pricing for damage repair or additional prep work. It can be difficult to determine the scope of the damage or additional prep work needed from a photograph. Once you drop the piece off we will examine it and send you a revised quote, if needed.
